Has anyone been on Clomid and Provera combination?
Answers:
I have PCOS & have to take Provera to start my cycles. Then I take Clomid (200mg) on cycle days 3-7 & go in for a ultrasound on cycle day 14 & if my eggs are bigger than 20mm then I get a shot of Norval to make me ovulate within 36 hours and go home & get busy. So far it has worked twice (both resulting in a miscarriage) out of 3 times. Sometimes clomid will dry you up but I have never had that problem. Make sure your doctor monitores you while on Clomid, cause if he/she doesn't then you are just wasting your time & money. Before I starting seeing a infertility specialist I was never monitored, then after seeing the specialist I get monitored every month on cycle day 14 to make sure the meds are making me ovulate.
The only bad side affects I have ever had was with Clomid. After starting the 200mg I had severe dizzy spells & lightheadness & I get very grumpy on Clomid (I heard this is a normal side affect).
Good luck!
