Implantation takes place 6-12 days after ovulation, so this is when you'd experience implantation bleeding or cramping. Not all women experience this, though, and I've heard that it's rare, so if you don't experience it, it doesn't mean you're not pregnant. Implantation bleeding should be brown or light pink, and not bright red. There should not be any clotting and you should not fill a pad.
