Off the pill officially! How long will it take to get preggers?!?
Answers:
It can take a month to years to get normal after birth control. Starting right away you need to have sex every other day beginning as soon as your bleeding stops or at least by the 7th day if you don't know when you ovulate. You need to start charting your basal body temperature which is your temperature upon first waking up. It must be taken at the same time every morning. All you need is a thermometer, pen and paper. Write down your temperature each morning and then input it for free at http://www.fertilityfriend.com/... When you ovulate your temperature will rise and stay up until your next period. If you need help getting started let me know. Most women who do this and find out their ovulation pattern get pregnant within the first few months if no medical situations arise. This is a 100% sure way of knowing
1. when/if you ovulate
2. when you can take a pregnancy test and know the results are right
Good luck!

It may take a month to 3 months for the pill to be out of your system. It wouldn't hurt to start trying immediately though. :)
If your 1st day of lat period was the 1st you can start as soon as the 14th ....on mothers day. You'll start going into ovulation on the 13 ovulation will occur on the 14th and into the 15th and the 16th you'll be coming out. If you don't get preg on the first try have fun and keep trying. Just remember though its when your not trying and stressing about it that you'll get preg. Just relax and have fun and keep the attitude of "If it happens it happens" kinda depends on what pill you were taking, for how long and mostly you. have you ever been pregnant? do you have any idea if you or your partner have any problems with concieving? I dont want to give you any false hope, but i got pregnant with my first daughter when i was on the pill. aparently i forget to take one and got myself all screwed up. i have been told by doctors and a bunch of other people that you are more likely to get pregnant if youve been on the pill and miss one or two than if you arent using anything at all. I would assume that being on the pill and stopping would provide the same results.
It took me six months but it really depends on your body and what kind of pill you were taking. I was on ortho tri cyclen lo. You can get ovulation tests at the store with about 7 in the kit for about 11 dollars. You will need to start testing anywhere from 10-12 days from your last period if you have a 28 day cycle. Also you can check your temperature every morning and you can use these websites...

I am with the girls on two week wait.com and we are all christian girls. For fertility friend.com that's where you record your temperature every morning. You have to wake up at the same time and not do ANYTHING before you temp. When you are ovulating your temp will go up. When you are on your period your temp will go down. You will get a free trial for 30 days and then you will get a free basic membership. They will tell you when you ovualate and the girls can help you with anything you need, including me. This should help you concieve faster. I wish you a lot of luck. My email is kevinsmustanggrl@yahoo.com. Email me if you need anything else.
