do you think its fair for a woman who is hiv positive and knows her status to get pregnant.?

this is assuming she has the finances to prevent the baby from infection.tell me what you think people.

Answers:
I think it would entirely depend on the situation. Many people with HIV are able to live fairly healthy, normal lives for many years. So, if this woman is healthy, under good medical supervision, is simply HIV positive (rather than having AIDS), and has a strong, supportive family structure, I don't think it is unreasonable for her to try to have a child. There are drugs to prevent the spread of the virus from the mother to the baby, so the baby has a great chance of being perfectly healthy as well.
Not really. I'm not up to date with all the advances dealing with HIV and aids but can they prevent it 100%? If so, maybe.
