i miscarried twins last week my husband had a vasectomy 10 years ago we are now wanting to try again any luck?

after a miscarriage, wea renow wanting to try again, we were blessed to have conceived after his vasectomy, should we try again naturally or seek medical help?

Answers:
I'm sorry to hear of your miscarriage. You husband should get a sperm count done first. This would tell if his vasectomy has failed. If they see no sperm, then the likelihood that you would get pregnant again is EXTREMELY low. Aside from the obvious questions which would be raised as to how you got pregnant when he had a successful vasectomy (I'm not suggesting infidelity, but the issue may come up so be prepared), you can then explore vasectomy reversal at:

Of course if his sperm count shows the vasectomy has failed, then you should have no problem, though he should probably inform his Urologist (or whatever surgeon performed the procedure).

Other Answers:
You should try again naturally, then if that doesn't work, go back to the doctors to reverse the vasectomy. Good luck!

Go ahead and try naturally again first, and see if it works.

If you are having trouble concieving naturally again, then use your judgement to see if you should seek medical intervention.

First of all to all idiots out there vasectomies and tubals are NOT always 100%. The only thing is 100% is NO SEX! I would discuss with my ob doctor if the miscarriage could have been results of the previous vasectomy! Don't put yourself through that pain again, make sure before trying again. Then if doctor says its not because of the vasectomy HAVE FUN! If doc says it was and you still want a child have a reversal done! GOOD LUCK and my condolences on your loss.
