anyone can suggest anything to help him

Answers:    When I moved my daughter to a cot, I bought a safe t sleep for her- not sure if you know what to be exact or not, its basically a big band of bits and pieces which goes round the entire mattress, secured with velcro, and attached to the big strip, is a smaller band which velcros around the babys waist.
It stops them being competent to move around in the cot, or slip under the covers, but as long as its not done up to tight, they can still roll over etc.

My daughter still uses hers at 19 months, and I suggest it was probably THE best thing I ever bought.

The website is safetsleep.com, near are photos so you can get a better idea of what i'm conversation about, my explanation was probably a bit confusing!

Anyway, fitting luck with your son :)
are you talking more or less a portable crib? like a playpen?

Also, babies usually don't bang their commander hard enough to hurt themselves. ( that's what a pediatrician told me roughly speaking my oldest son when i asked him). They know when to stop before they really hurt themselves...they'll just do adequate to scare themselves.
