Do you make a big deal of their birthdays when they are still too infantile to really get it? Brodie knows something is going on, but not slightly sure what! And that "sit and giggle" elmo chair we bought him, well apparently thats newly plain scary!! He hates it! Have you bought your kids presents you thought they would love, simply to find they hate them?

hhaa yes with my daughter Isla, who is 15mnths, for her 1st birthday we got her a giant pink soft toy thing and she just scream and cried. I was really upset, it cost me a fortune.
Anyway, just produce sure he has fun, maybe kind a cake?
We have a silly breakfast [fruit loops and strawberry milk], thats her favourite! - I give it to her once on a pyjama day we had.
Oh, when they are babyish. I dont want her to grow up!

Happy Birthday Charliee!! Yes, I have bought my kids toys that I thought they'd love, but were startled of. My daughter was totally scared of this purple beebop toy that sings & dance. My granddaughter was scared of a singing, dance Winney The Pooh toy. She used to always knock over the little one gate going to the upstairs, so my daughter would just sit the Winney The Pooh toy at the bottom of the steps & she wouldn't turn near it. Worked better than the baby takings! lol Ohhhhh!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRODIE!!
I make the BIGGEST DEAL, over my kids birthdays (actually over all my family birthdays!). But you know that already!! :) - I never got a birthday cake growing up, so for everyone's birthday now, we own all our family around.
My William & Tobias turn 3 within September (a little sad, that they are growing up) but I have their morning all planned. I have even started next to food ideas, themes. lol!! We are have a jungle theme, last year it be Spiderman.
My kids hates their sit and giggle bench too. They really have only only started liking it recently. Get the elder boys to sit in it, and he will come right. That's what we did.

*I didn't really take home a big deal of my daughters birthday until she turned 3 and could realize what was going on.
* I hold bought my daughter a present that I thought she would love and she was scared to release of it. It was the crawl with me tiger. She insufferable how it would just start crawling toward her.
what a cutie..happy, sunny birthday! I have three kids and I have gotten them adjectives something that I thought they would love and they weren't interested at all. For my oldest, we got him a huge freestyle operated dump truck and he rode on it like once and that be it. I ended up selling it for 20 bucks.
I make the BIGGEST deal of birthdays! I plan for months and I put streamers everywhere. I have gone to the roller skating ring, bowling alley, Chuck e Cheese twice, zoo, but the home party are the most elaborate. I cant wait for my little guys first..5 months to walk.

First of adjectives Happy Birthday to Charliee... And yes.. it always seems resembling the cool expensive toys we buy thinking they will love them, just freak them out, or the excitement lasts roughly speaking 5 minutes, then they want to play with the box it come in... I started just getting a nice sized box, and going to the discount store and buying a integral bunch of small things, wrapping them up and putting them all in the box. my 1st born hated dolls and wasnt girly at adjectives, whenever family brought her a doll, she would cry and have a fit

Yes...I got my newborn a swing chair and she SCREAMED the second it go on.I have also bought silly things like a big dolls house when she be only 2...she has never played next to that. Her fave things are really weird. Happy Birthday Charliee! Happy birthday Charilee!
