[Bilinguel Babysitter] How much would I charge for edification spoken language and embezzle strictness of their kids.?
However, the kids are 4 and 6 that they already communicate beside only English. It'll take lots of time to explain things to them.
The parents said that they can money for 12 dollors/ hour which is fine rate for two girls, but if I think about the reality that I will be "teaching" Japanese, 12dollors sounds too cheap.
If they ask me to speak or teach Japanese, I want to ask them to pay mor. Do you cogitate that's reasonable? How much do you think I should charge for them?
Answers: i one-sidedly think thats resonablle, just try to politley ask for a tip, and ask for extra if you work overtime. be incredibly polite though.
i think that 5 dollars per child per hour is a good rate-- usually. that would give you 10 dollars an hour, but they're giving you a bit extra ($2) which is pretty good. you could ask for 15 an hour but i expect that'd stretch it a bit. I dont think that you will actually spend time instruction them, per se. You will just speak your language to them, and they will pick it up. Especially the younger one. As you speak Japanese to them, point at what you want. If you be to say "help me verbs up your toys" in Japanese, you would show them what you want them to do as you pick up with them. Or enunciate it in Japanese first, English 2nd, and then again within Japanese. Kids are like sponges. In no time, they will be speaking Japanese to you with little to no trouble!
If you want to charge more, i would ask the nearest and dearest if they could maybe throw an extra $3 per hour in at hand. With my fiances mother (my fiances family is Puerto Rican), we pay her to scrutinize our kids, but we dont pay her extra to teach the kids spanish. My kids are fluent contained by both. Then again, in my case, its domestic.
