How are cysts removed?

My daughter developed a large round cyst on her wrist and I took her to her pediatrician to have it looked at. He referred her to his partner's son, who is an orthopedic surgeon, because he said something would have to be done with it because it will interfere with hre wrist movements as she is growing. How do you think they will remove it? I have been told cutting it out, a needle with saline injected into it, and an antibiotic to help clear it up. I just want to have some idea of what to expect when I take her th the appointment this week. Thanks!

well I've had one before and all they did was injected a needle into the cyst to numb it then they take a cutting utensil and open it to drain out they infection after that they put Guss in it and that's all
