3 yr old Playing with Himself?

Hi, Whenever my son is naked (bathtime, using toilet ect.) he plays with himself (well sort of anyway). During the warmer weather he has been just wearing his shorts (or boxers in the house). When he wears his boxers only he puts his fingers in the hole all of the time

Totally normal. Just explain to him that it isn't proper to do that in front of people. If you don't make a big deal out of it, it won't be a problem. My son did the same exact thing, this is how I handled it. After a couple of reminders he got the idea.

Kids do that at this age, so its not just him!

The best way to handle it is not to make such a big fuss, tell him that's not something we do, but don't make it to fussy, don't tell him its bad, or wrong, because then he'll never want to touch it, even to use the bathroom!

I think the answer was that it's just normal....
they are curious when they're young and they don't really understand why bits and bobs are there lol

give him something to play with like a toy to stop him fiddling, he might get worms that way or something.

I wish that I could say he will grow out of this,but he wont.In fact when he becomes a teenager he will walk the streets with one hand down the front of his trousers.
