I need help with my project on "expressions" pragmatic,synta... and semantic meaning?

I need help putting my topic expressions in order. I have to use the different meanings of the word in different events. For example facial expressions or bible expressions I have to use them in pragmatic, syntatic, and semantic meaning

Answers:
Pragmatic: Relating to or being the study of cause and effect in historical or political events with emphasis on the practical lessons to be learned from them.

Syntactic: Of or conforming to the rules of syntax. (ie. sentence structure)

Semantic: Of or relating to meaning, especially in language

There is probably more to your project, but from what I am guessing, pragmatic is like a Bible story. Like the son who goes out and spends all his inheritance, and when he comes home, his father throws him a party. There's a moral at the end of the story.

Syntactic I am guessing means like you get the meaning from the sentence structure (punctuation), while semantic would be similar but perhaps with the language used.

I'm trying my best here. Hopefully someone else might have an idea to help you out further.
