What is a good home remedie for infant yeast infection?

Answers:
Not a lot of good home remedies for a yeat infection in *infants*. Try letting her air out between diaper changes and pick up some over the counter clotrimazole 1% cream. Use twice daily. This should do the trick.

The enzymes in plain yogurt seem to do really well with yeast infections - just don't feed it to her. Put it on under her diaper. Make sure that she has plenty of "air time" - air is really good to help kill the bacteria that cause yeast infections. Keep her diapers dry...you might have to change them more often, but it's worth it. You might even try cloth if you're adventurous, at least until she's over the infection. My sympathies to you...it's hard to see your infant uncomfortable or in pain. Best of luck to you!

My chef at my job! It really works
I'm not sure about a home remedie,I do know that Yougurt has a bacteria in it that really helps and it also helps to prevent yeast infections but my doctor just prescribed hydrocortisone cream and Nyaderm cream for my baby girls yeast infection. It works really fast it was gone the next day!! You just apply them together. Good Luck
Wash and dry the area thoroughly. Let air dry for a few minutes if possible. My pediatrician suggested hydrocotisone cream. It helps soothe the itching. If it gets worse, the dr. will be able to prescribe something stronger.
From what I understand there is no real home remedy. While the good bacteria in yogurt will help alleviate the symptoms and perhaps prevent future infections, you should see a doctor to obtain appropriate medication to treat the infection.
there is none you can get it to clear up but it will reaccurre until you get a topical or oral med depending on where it's at in the mouth or the diaper area...if it's the diaper area you can leave the diaper off as much as possible.. and apply corn starch to the area before putting the diaper back on... it's best to go to the doctor before the rash breaks down and begins to bleed and gets seriously infected ...which is painful for the baby and does not reflect well on the care the child is receiveing from it's parents
If you are looking for something to apply to diaper rash, you can get Lotrimin cream(jock itch, athletes foot) used to be by prescription only but now can buy over the counter, can also use walmart brand.
Did you say infant? Go to your Pediatrician!!!!!! Let him or her examine your child and give you a prescription.
