My baby won't drink?

My baby just turned 1 and he will only drink a sip or two of water during the day. He is still breastfed and on solids, but a very picky eater. Any idea if this is ok/healthy for him? You hear so much about hydration, it makes a new mom worry!

Thanks!

Answers:
If he's breastfeeding still,he probably prefers it to water. He is proabably getting enough fluid through breastmilk and fruit. As you wean him of course he will need more water.
Mom, your baby will eat and drink what he needs at 12 months. He is probably getting enough water from other sources so he is not intersted in his sippy cup

However this is a concern you should bring to your childs healthcare provider at your next visit.

In the interim I have pasted a link from the National Library of Medicine below. They are authoratative sources on which you can rely.
My daughter was the same way, try flavoring the water with a bit of juice.
