18month old language skills?
she can plainly say 2 sylibil words the most impressive to date is Picture and she says it that plainly...her vocab. is about well unlimited if you tell her what it is she will say it and know what it is from then on...she ocunts to 10 and as well when you say 1 she will say 2 she knows what comes next. She has been walking since the very day she turned 9 months old.
Answers:
It actually sounds like she's ahead of her age group. I can't compare her to my son cause girls mature faster boys in the communication dept...but my friend's daughter still only says one syllable words, her two syllable words are kinda hard to understand just yet. Sounds like you work with her alot, and talk to her alot, so I applaud you. Most parents talk to their kids using baby talk so the kids don't usually talk right at that age...definitely good for you and your daughter!! Keep up the good work!!
Other Answers:
Yes, that is normal. It also means that she hears very well.
Very normal. Most girls learn to speak early and very well. Yes,it is normal. It's excellent! My oldest daughter is now 8,but when she was 18 months old her pediatrician said she knew as many words as a kindergartner. She is very intelligent. She enjoys reading & is a straight A student.

I think it's normal for girls, they develop faster and learn easier at a younger age. My daughter too started speaking early, she's one smart cookie, like your little girl I bet. Just tell everyone she gets it from her parents. :)
Yes that is normal!! She does hear well. Also, she is "bright" at an early age. My daughter was the same way, she is now 8 years old. Get down off your high horse, because when they turn about 7, the other kids catch up and your child will become very "normal"!! Have Fun:)Source(s):
mom of 2, ages 8 & 4.
thats very good some kids just pick up on things quickly. my brother started walking at 10 months Babies develop at different rates. Your daughter sounds like she's on the faster end of the spectrum. So yes, I would say that's normal. However, I wouldn't say an 18-month-old who only says a few words is abnormal either, know what I mean? 18-month-olds aren't expected to have a vocabulary like your daughter's, but there's nothing abnormal about it. Keep encouraging her to learn!
