Have a mom and daughter "beautiful" day. Include makeup, nail polish, the whole 9 yards. Make her feel like the most beautiful princess ever. Include a shopping trip in which she can pick out her own makeup and nail polish (any color she likes, yes, even if its bright green!) Spend the day "getting beautiful" and your daughter will, on her own, not even dream of biting her nails and wrecking the beautiful nail polish she picked out on her own (being able to pick ot out is key here!). If you do catch her biting, say something like, "Ooh no! Your beautiful nails!" Basically, remind her that she picked it out and she looks extra beautiful with it on. Also, try letting her know that if she keeps it on, without biting, you will have a "beautiful day" again next week! Little girls LOVE doing this type of thing with their mothers!
