how do i stop my child from being so mean to his uncle who is the same age as him he is 4?

the relationship (uncle / nephew) is a non-issue. You have to teach a 4 year old about right and wrong and being nice and nasty. You have to instruct/punish. Kids won't know how to behave by instinct. You have to "program" them.

I have the same problem with my daughter and her uncle, but for me I just let them practice alot of school work and they seem to love that, but there is some hard times were they have to just be separated b/c they can get tired of each other. I sometimes sit down and talk to them and tell them don't fight each other, fight together! Um, that sounds like you need give them space, and have them spends time aways from each other. Maybe it is not time for the fact of "Uncle title." They are only 4 not 24. Give it time, they are only 4.

Just like you would any other child that does not get along with other children You spend time with them and see what the issue is about why they do not get along You watch them and you teach them what is and is not acceptable
