A day in Paris with my 3 year old?
I have to travel to Africa with my preschooler and have a 12 hour layover in Paris. Can anyone suggest good places for kids--parks, playgrounds--where she can have some fun for the day rather than being cooped up in the airport?
Answers:
Definitely go to the Eiffel tower! Your kid will love having a picture of his/herself in front of that landmark. Make it into something exciting or magical if he/she doesn't seem so interested. I think just walking down around the shoppes is exciting enough for a 3 yr old. Lots of hustle and bustle and things to look at in the shoppe windows. No need to go to some amusement park or what have you. You can stop for some fancy ice cream and a nice meal somewhere, I'm sure the hours will go by quicker than you think.
Try going on a river cruise. You will both enjoy that.
Musée de la Poupée is a doll museum that all children will enjoy. The Grévin wax museum might be interesting.

the link above looks pretty interesting, but would probably take most of your time. Good Luck and have a safe and wonderful trip!
