Other Answers:
put him on the toilet and hand him a porno... works for dad.
but food dye in ice cubes, freeze, and put one in the toilet when he goes so he has something fun to aim at.
Let him see from TV or Video.
I would have dad or granddad help with this let them show him where to p
My son was potty trained only when he was 3 years old. I tried all the fun things to potty train like watching videos about it, reading fun books on the subject, asking him to aim at something in the potty stool etc. But nothing worked. One day all of a sudden he asked me to take him to the potty. I think children are potty trained only when they want to and are ready for it. He's not had a single accident since then even during nighttime.
Put a rock in the potty chair and tell him to go pee on it
put blue food coloring in the water. tell him it'll turn green when he pees in it. i bet he'll want to find out.
My daughter was potty trained before she even turned two. what i did was put her on her potty as soon as she woke up and made her sit there until she used it most time i was able to get her to the potty before she urinated in the morning and if i noticed that she hadn't urinated in her pamper by noon i would sit her on her potty again and so on and so on. My brother did that with all four of his daughters as well and they all were potty trained before 2 our at least a little after.
Go to Dollar Tree or Walmart and buy some toys wrap them up and when he uses the bathroom let him pick out one!! It works!!
your son is not even two years old yet. boys are much harder then girls to train. they take longer then girls. i would send my son into the bathroom with his dad every time dad went to let him watch and it helps a lot. good luck. p.s. dont rush him he will do it when the time is right for him.
toilet paper sinking that work in my house pluse out side in the summer time .
do'nt flush while he is in the bathroom
If he's ready, then it won't be a big deal, promise.

He needs to be able to recognize that he's wet, be able to pull up and down his pants, and be able to tell you he needs to go.

If he can't do all three things, it's not time yet. Don't worry, it will happen, EVERYONE learns to use the potty lol

When he is ready, some of the other answers above are great!
Have him aim at cheerios or some kind of target in the toilet. That worked with my son.
