Help! My 4 year old son won't stay in his bed!?

I know people have asked this question many times, but I never read the answers because I wasn't having the problem. Now, all of a sudden,my son will get up 3-5 times a night and try to get in bed with us. He doesn't cry or even say anything to me. He just tries to crawl in the bed. I've been getting up and taking him back to his room, tucking him in and leaving. A couple of hours later, he's back in our room. I know that sooner or later, he'll stop. Can any parents that have dealt with this tell my how long I can expect this to continue? Is this just a phase? I'm so sleepy in the mornings. I guess I really just need some emotional support :-) Thanks so much.

My son did this when he was 2...he wanted to sleep with Mommy and Daddy. We let him, and after a few months he stayed in his own room. Now he refuses to sleep with us...and he's 4.

I'd say it's just a phase. I'd say let him sleep with you...he'll outgrow it and want back in his own room.
well first of all.. be happy that he dosnt cry or say anything!!!
my answer.. be consistent.. keep putting him back!! its just a phase.. yoou can also try to sleep in the same room as him.. sleep on the floor next to him then leave after hes sleeping..
