help!!!! toilet training?

I am afull time nanny and the 3 year old i care for will not go for a poo on the toilet. She goes for a wee but refuses to poo. She waits until night when she is put into bed with a pull up on and then goes. Fifteen minutes later her parents have to go and clean her up. We tried taking the pull up away but did not work. Plz help as she is getting constipation due to not going regularly

I would sit her on the potty b/f bed and tell her that it is potty time!!! Make it VERY exciting! And, I was not above bribing! I know it sounds bad, but until you potty train for yourself, you don't understand. I would say "every time that you go pee and poo poo in the potty we will spend and extra 15 min at the park (or whatever her leverage was)." Also, the more upset you get, the more power you are giving her. If you make it a big deal, then she thinks it is. Just act like she is being a baby (any 3 yr old hates that) and that it is very gross. Just act like you are just disappointed in her, and she will get the message that you are happy when she does it in the potty, but not in her pants.
Hope it helps and GOOD LUCK! I swear if someone could simplify this process, they would be a millionaire!!!!

I recently had a similar issue with my 3yo daughter. I simply had her wear big girl panties to bed, and when she messed them, made her clean them and herself up, and let her know that this is how it would be from now on. She has been poop free for three months streight.

take her outside and let her go like a horse, the natural way since it's starting to affect her physically, i'd say lay off for a few weeks. just keep her in panties all of the time, and don't force the issue. she'll get it, but you don't want to do more harm than good by pushing her when she's not ready. good luck!

i had similar prob with mine, they do it when they are ready she is still young and there is plenty of time.
