i had a dream that my son died?

okay here is the dream. Me and my son and three other people I have never even seen in my real life are at the lake. My son is playing in the shallow end and for some reason i am on the other side of the lake. then all of a sudden there is a big heavy current and he gets swept away the lake turns into a waterfall cliff thing and he goes over the edge i jump off the cliff and try to catch him but am too late he vividly falls to the ground and lands head first on pointy rocks and I literally see his body mangled. sorry so graphic but what does this mean. also I dont think this is going to come true because I can not swim and I dont even let him out of my arms when we are around water

Answers:
Heavy current = changes, sudden problems
son = closer relationship
other people = bystanders, support you don't get
cannot swim = helpless
death = departure, afraid of losing relationship

Basically, you are in a dream of insecurity. You want to protect your son everywhere you can. You projected some people too; however those support in real life you cannot really get and for some reason, you don't trust them. And you are helpless. They are just there. You reflect your worries in your dream about the security of your son. That is perfect normal as a mother. However, I suggest that you should let go a little bit. That insecure feeling will stay you in mind for a little

I could be wrong, but this is how I see from your dream
It's normal to have dreams about awful things happening to the people you love. When my husband was in Iraq, I had dreams all the time about seeing him die.

It's just scary. Don't read too much into the dreams. It doesn't mean it's going to happen, or there's no hidden meaning in it. It was just a dream.
It is probably because of fears that most parents have about something happening to their kids. I have had the same kinds of dreams about my kids.
