Help with potty training....?
Answers:
I don't mean to sound judgmental..Although it will come out that way...But there's absolutely no way why a child soon to be 4 years old shouldn't be potty trained already!
Here's what worked for my daughter.. was almost 2 years old. My daughter refused to poop in the toilet as well. Encourage her, talk to her, and explain to her it will be fine...I begin to make sure the cover of the toilet was clean, place a paper towel over it and layed m&ms down..Each time she tried, or succed, I'll reward her by giving her an m&m. I made it a game, AND we even made up our own little silly song.
DO NOT give into her by allowing her to go put on a pull up...AND do not allow her to go in her panties either...Unfortunately, the child is the one that has to suffer due the parent prolonging to properly potty train her. Be consistent and do not give in to her..Allow her to go in tiolet..If she refuses to, don't reward her..
give her something to wrok torward or somthing she gets if she does
also make sure its fun and exiting to go potty have a sticker borad so she can keep track
good luck
tell her she'll get a prize if she poops in the potty (get stickers, snacks, little things that don't cost alot to motivate her to poop in the potty)
