My 4 year old likes to choose her own meals. If you are planning a week in advance, figure out what are her favorites.

Breakfasts: Cereal (she picked out her own), eggs, cheese, bagels, yogurt, fruit (bananas, apples, watermelon, cantelope).

Morning snack - fruit - again bananas, apples, watermelon, cherries, peaches, cantelope, sugar melon, etc.

Lunch - chicken nuggets, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, raviolis (homemade - but you can buy the frozen kind or even cans), maccaroni and cheese, hot dog, hamburger.

Afternoon snack - fruit, popcorn, yogurt, fresh veggies with a little dip

Supper - veggie choices galore, vegetarian lasagna (made from scratch), Chicken cacciatore, Meat balls and spaghetti, baked chicken, stew, cabbage and stew, corn on the cob, baked potatoes
For dinner the child should be eating whatever you are eating.
