sending a 14 month old to day school?

my daughter is 14 months old and she is going to our church day school in a few weeks. i am being a hyper mom, but i was wondering if anyone had sent their kids to day school at such a young age. she is strickly breastfed girl and won't take milk out of a cup. she is weening herself but isn't done with 4 mommy-meals a day. she also doesn't fall asleep very well for strangers and will have nap time at school. i know that school will be good socialization for her, but ahhh!! 6 hours twice a week with out her! what will i do?! should i just go for it?

Honestly minus the breast feeding thing...That's why I opened my first daycare and now am opening a bigger one. Any daycare provider worth ANYTHING will be able to handle making your child feel comfortable. Hopefully you are close by and can feed her right before school during lunch and right after and diner. It's soo hard but make sure that the daycare is the kind of place that asks you questions and actually makes an EFFORT to know YOU and YOUR CHILD and HOW YOU RAISE HER!!! Then if they are really good people then they will be able to provide great supplimentry care.

I would never take my girls to anyone who did not completely bombard me with questions about me and my children. In order to teach you have to learn.
First of all, why are you still breast feeding your daughter at 14 months old? You should have weened her off of this a LONG time ago!!! Eventually, she'll just have to learn to fall asleep for strangers.
