HELP! Non Paying Parents/Horrible Children!?

This is a followup to my previou question. I babysit for a family with two kids who are very temperamental and do not cooperate. The house is chaotic, the children are bad, i dont like them and the father just recently made a racist-type remark towards me.. I babysit for them for 10 hours a day for $100- $150 a week. (thats like $2.30 an hour with these two children.. Not enough money for me to stay with them all day!!! How can i nicely break it to the parents that i dont want to sit for them anymore? or that perhaps they need to stat finding a new sitter? How do i quit this job without it turning bad?!?!?! Thank you for any help.

Hi there, you don't say how old you are, if you are a minor you can just tell the family that your parents don't want you to do this anymore, blame it on them, but let your parents know how you feel about this job and tell them thats what your going to do first.
If you are older, tell them that you have been offered a really good job that you would like to take, give them plenty of notice so they can find another sitter, then they have no reason to be mad at you. If you see this family again and they ask about your job, just tell them it didn't work out.
They don't sound like very nice people so I don't think I would worry too much if it turns bad, the only thing you will lose from them is a reference.
Good Luck!!
just do it
