My almost three year old won't poop in the potty, any advice??

I have a 3 year old and had the same problem.I've worked in the Day Care field and have 3 kids.In the book we had to study it said not to reward a child with food but shh it worked for me.It's ok to say,"If you poopy mommy is going to give you a yummy cookie.What you do is put her on a few minutes (after) she eats.That's when they poop most.When she does finally go in the toilet you have everyone applaud her,YAY YAY.Even clap makes them feel like it not a bad thing and it's not.Give her that cookie.After a while you can cut out the treat of a cookie but still applaud.Soon her going in a pull up will be the most disqusting thing to her.I just would put her in underwear and don't scold her tell her the poop on the floor has to go in the toilet.When we would applaud my son it seemed like he wanted to poop just so we would applaud lol.Now he doesn't even wear a pull up.IM me when you need help with that.lol REDANIMALMUPPET is my yahoo messenger ID.Take Care.
Well start bribbing her say if you go on the potty like a big girl would i'll buy you a new (whatever she likes). If that doesnt work tell her she has to start becoming a big girl now and being a big girl comes with responsibilites and one of those is going on the potty
