Are there any portable DVD players that support .avi's, .mpeg's, etc.?

We are about to drive 40 hours across country with a 2 year old (and 2 month old.) Does anyone know of any portable DVD players that will play computer files, like from Windows Media Player, or Real One player, etc. I have a bunch of pre-school programs in that format- not DVD's. I don't have a lap-top.

Answers:
you should have those files converted then burned onto CD's in DVD format
