Help Please, Help!!!How do I get my 1yr old off the pacifier? He's addicted and I need help!?

If you absolutely need to take it away from him now tell him about the pacifier fairy! She is just like the tooth fairy who leaves a quarter for a pacifier.This worked for all 3 of my kids, but I waited till they were 3 years old. And low and behold all the old lost pacifiers that were missing eventually showed up even a year later!!!!
Just take it away! I've got three and all of them had bottles and pacys taken away at age 1.
