My almost 3 year old is still being stubborn on potty training?

My daughter is almost 3 and is not potty trained yet. we are concerned. She dosent seem to wan to learn and cries when we mention going to the potty. We have tried different approaches such as a video, offering her rewards and even the old dont you want to be a big girl? She does want to be in the bathroom when we go but still is not interested. Is this normal? What is considered late for toddlers to be potty trained? She is 3 in october.. should we be worried and any ideas what we should do?? HELP ,

My daughter turned 3 on Aug 2,06 and is still not potty trained. She is beginning so show a bit of interest tho. One thing that has seemed to get her to want to sit on the potty is having her wear real underwear while at home. That way when she has an "accident" she is more aware that it feels yucky and wet and will want to go do potty like a big girl. While I have her wearing the big girl underware, I ask her every few mins if she has to go.You may have a few puddles to clean up here and there, but she will relize it is uncomfortable to be wet.Use pullups just for going out and bed time. So just buy some cheap little girl undies for her and give it a try...so far my daughter has shown some interest.

well my daughter turned 3 in june of this year and is just now going potty on a regular basis. i think it is ok but i am only sayng this because 2 out of my 3 girls were late on the potty chair does she have her own little potty? i know my daughter will still not go on the big potty yet she is scared of it so she has her own little chair.good luck
