Heat is supposed to kill the lice. If you are able it is best to put the mattress out in the sun and then spray with the spray that comes with the lice kit. Unless you are allergic to it.

The spray is all you need to do to delice the sofa and bed. If the thought of possible head lice is giving you the creeps, wait to steam clean after a two week treatment of the spray.

There is nothing you can do to remove all bugs from your home. There are tiny dust mites that live in your home always. Even the human body has tiny mites that live on it and eat the dead skin. So if you are having the creeps try not to get phobic about it. It's the nature of things.

To delice the pillows place in a hot dryer and run through the dryer cycle. Or wash them and dry as usual.

I think maybe open her window and air out her room and house. If she has stuffed animals put them in a plastic bag for about 3-6 days. that is how I rember it. lol so do quote me lol good luck
