my 4 year old son?

My son went to his grandma's for the week he didn't have a dummy to go to sleep with at his grandma's. then when he came back home he wouldn't go to sleep without one he nearly made himself sick until i gave him one. any advice how to get him to stop having a dummy at night. as he is 4 now. his baby brother has one but i don't treat either of them any differently. Any suggestions.

Answers:
It sounds like your son has been spoilt at grandmas and has had one to one attention. Kids do this, they can go through phases where they regress, he has gone back to his dummy as he sees this as a way of gaining your undivided attention as he is now home and has to share you again. Believe me i speak from experience as my son used to do this regularly.

I would suggest calmly referring to him as a big boy/little man whetever you are comfortable with, try a bit reverse psychology, dont take the dummy off him but get him to see that to be a little man, he shouldn't have it for himself

Good luck i hope this helps
JUST TAKE IT OF HIM AND LET HIM SEE YOU PUT IT IN THE BIN
