Tonight I got a brand new babysitting job.?

I will be watching a 3 year old boy from 6-7 will his mom and baby sister are in the other room. Basically I just need to keep him occupied will his sister gets therapy. I am a very experienced 16 yr old. What do you think fair pay is? She asked and I said I dont care, so she said we will just discuss it tonight. Parents, maybe you could tell what you would pay? Babysitters? Also do you know any games or things for a 3 yr old. I am used to either babysitting older kids, or babies. Anything helps thanks!

I would say that $10 is more than fair for an hour.

As far as ideas, if you have a printer with your home computer, you can find pictures to print out. Print a few and take them with you. You can print 2 of the same one, so that you are both coloring the same picture at the same time.

When you get there, ask what his favorite book is, tell him you want to read it with him, then the two of you can act it out. Let him choose first who he wants to be, or let him pick your character for you. (My daughter still loves this idea at 8)

You can always do the good old standard and just play with his toys with him. Sit on the floor and let him make up the rules of his game as he goes along, as a lot of 3 year olds do.
