My two year old son loves to hold my hand?

My son is going through this phase where he loves to hold someones hand. Running his fingers inbetween mine/grandpa. anybody. He is not a shy child, and will go off and play with other children. It is almost like a comfort thing. Should i be concerned. This is happening as well as him sucking on his bottom lip. Both of these are neccessary for him to go to sleep, ride in the car, anytime he is not playing he is feeling on someones hand and sucking on his bottome lip. Shoud i be concerned about either one of these?

Nah. All kids have some way of comforting themselves whether we pick up on it or not. My daughter sucks two fingers and rubs my ear (when she can) or her own ear.

As long as he is happy and healthy in other aspects, I suspect he will grow out of it.

BTW, enjoy the hand holding because my 2 y.o. is very independent and barely wants to give mommy hugs/kisses when I ask. And I love to squeeze her. She's so tiny and warm and I love that kid smell.

i wish my daughter would hold my hand, it sounds nice.
