Were can i find a Preschool?
Answers:
Some public schools have their own preschools (Free) but this is still a growing trend and may not have reached your area. Head Starts are nation-wide and enroll throughout the year. You may want to contact your local Child Care Resource and Referral. It will give you info about where preschools in your price range are located. Then take that list of preschools to your local Child Care Licensing Bureau (usually part of Dept or Health or Dept of Family Services.) Then you have access to the licensing files of each child care (its free public info.) They will have on file any complaints or violations the preschool has received and you can cross them off your list. Then take your list and arrange visits to each center. Bring your daughter and follow her lead.
Go to Leo Headstart. Its a great preschool. The kids are there 'til 2-3 p.m. Then they have to be picked up. Its on Commercial St.
