How do I get my toddler to stop keeping food in the sides of his cheeks?

My little boy will be 2 next month. He recently has decided that he will chew something to the point of getting it into a nice ball of mushy food and then parks it on the inside of his cheek. He'll keep it there for hours if we don't check to see that he has swallowed the food.

so my 2 year old son isn't the only one!Well from all the feedback of similar situations looks like its a popular phase.I always make him spit it out if he isnt going to eat it.
It probobly isnt good for his teeth and gums to be letting him hold it on one side for a long time.So I always give him two options he can either promptly finish eating it or I make him spit it out over a napkin.sooner or later he will get the point.
Pinch and pat his cheeks every now and again. Worked on my kid brother. :-)
