what does thrush look like?
Answers:
You need to see your doctor for meds!
Thrush looks like white patches of cottage cheese or milk curds on the tongue or other surfaces in the mouth. In infants, thrush is often mistaken for milk or formula. The patches adhere to the tongue and mouth and cannot be easily wiped away.
Medications that inhibit the growth of fungi (antifungals) are the standard treatment for thrush. These medications are either applied directly to the affected area (topical) or swallowed (oral).

Thrush is usually white patches. It can be on the inside of the cheeks/lips or on the roof of the mouth as well as on the tongue. Thrush can not be scraped off without bleeding. Try putting a dab of toothpaste on the corner of a wet cloth or a wet toothbrush to wash the tongue. If it doesn't wash off see the doctor. The doctor will usually prescribe liquid Nystatin that you put in the mouth for thrush. The doc can give you a prescription for it called NYSTATIN ORAL
