An opinion: Are parents gender bias when allowing their kids to pee without a toilet?

I have noticed over the years since becoming a parent that parents of boys allow them to pee almost anywhere (in the bushes, by the car, in bottles, coffee cans, etc.) if they feel the need to go - even if it is not urgent. Parents of girls, however ask them to hold it until they reach a bathroom and it becomes an emergency. Why do you think some parents do this?

Answers:
They do that because its easier for boys to pee anywhere then girls.
Peeing outside for a boy doesn't mean they have to drop their trousers to do it. Boys have a lesser ability to 'hold' it, as well (smaller bladder), in general. Mostly a modesty thing for the girls, I'd suppose. I prefer mine to use the loo, unless we're off in the woods on holiday, myself.
