My Daughter is starting to Read but she just turned Two?

Is this pretty young to be spellng and reading?

Dont worry i encourage it and have been teaching her
to write also. Just wondering if this is the age kids
usually start reading and writting?

No, this is not typical.....she is very early. Don't push, but if she is interested then work with her on it.

Many kids don't learn to read or write until they are in Kindergarten. Some don't even know their letters yet upon entering KG.

My oldest was reading books by the time he was 4 years old. He read chapter books by the time he started KG.

My middle child is almost 5.5 years and just started KG and she is just beginning to read a word or two here and there.

My youngest is 3.5 years old and is starting to learn to read.

Be warned that she is probably going to be BORED when she starts school if she keeps up at this rate, unless you choose to homeschool.
