I'm looking for a summer job for teens.?
Answers:
I don't know if you have experience babysitting, but you could do a summer playgroup for kids. This would work best for kids between about 18mo.-4yrs., but preferably they would be close in age (like, all 2-3 or something).
You could get 3-5 kids together, depending on how many you think you could handle. You could make it about 8/9am-noon or 1pm. You could charge $75/wk. per kid. That would make you $225/wk (3 kids) for only 4-5 hours of work per day. (You'd have to consider clean-up or preparation.) You could rotate at different kids' homes so you wouldn't have to find a place and the parents could provide the lunch and snacks for that day.
Lots of daycares take breaks for the summer, so you could do it from June-August. Anyway, just a thought. I was going to do it this summer, but my plans changed. Good luck and have fun!
