What is normal at 2 years and 5 months, my son knows 9 different colors, the alphabet and can count to 10.?
Answers:
I'm glad to hear of a parent working with her child. By kindergarten, it's a blessing if a child can recognize/write his name, identify letters and sounds, count to 20, and sit still long enough to enjoy and discuss a story.
Also, the more you expose him to, the better off he'll be. Children who have visited different places (even if it's just at the local level), have better vocabularies.

well knowing the alphabets pretty advanced.
usually, kids at that age can count to 30. so he might be a special ed kid. He is the next Einstein and he will disprove creationism for me.
Congratulations, your child may be a genius. My own kids are smart but they couldn't do what you are describing.
Some children can't even identify things that early a stage even when they have nothing wrong with them. Sometimes it depends on their parents' learnings' ages, but this is quite good. It's a great average, abit better as well. I wish him the best of luck and he must be very happy having to know that his mom is quite proud! Good on u and gwdlucks 4 de future. You have a very smart and advanced child.
Keep up the great work. i bet you are proud .. my daughter knew a lot at a young age as well ,she stunned everyone at a party when she started naming the shapes of differnt obects on the table when she was 18 months old .. but she became bored in preschool and when she started school cause i was teaching her too much i think , young kids have a great memory and thats mostly what learning is but he may just be the next new brain..lol u never know
