What activities can my wife use to keep my 2 year old son occupied over the summer holidays?

Well there are plenty of things you can do with a 2 year old that dont cost a lot of money.
You could bake cakes, and let them help out - You could get some finger paints and lots of crayons and glitter and make lots of mess- You could go to the park and feed the ducks, or even just take them for a walk and point out all the flowers and birds. Kids love that. You could teach them songs and read them books.
If you do have money, there is the zoo to take them to, or maybe where you live has a farm where the children can pet or sometimes feed the animals.
I think 2 is a lovely age. When they are babies, they just cry or sleep, but when they are 2, they are very good company and can make you laugh and smile all the time with the things they say and do.
