What are good ideas for after school care?

My daughter is still in daycare, she is 2 1/2. But I have come to wonder where kids can go after school....once they start school. I'm a single mom who works full time, 8-5 and goes to college a couple of nights a week. Her dad is also going to school and her family members work full time too. So I wonder, what do parents do when there are no other options after 2pm or so, when kids get out of school. Gimme ideas to ponder on for the next few years!

A good idea would be to enroll your daughter in programs. Community centers and public libraries always have something going on. Notice over the years what she enjoys most...is it art and music...dancing or soccer?

Check out some community magazines and find a program to let her passions grow and develop. Even if its just a couple of times a week it will keep her going. The others days can be one on one time with mom (kids love that most by the way).
