VOMITING in 13 Month old?

My 13 month old has picked up a vomiting/diarrea bug from Daycare. Whats the best course of action to keep her comfortable, and reduce the symptoms.

Answers:
give their little belly a rest.. dont put anything on their stomach for about 30-45 mins after they vomit..then do a tsp of room temp ginger ale.. if it doenst bounce back after about 10 mins... gradully increase the amount of fluids...If they wont drink the pedialite... freeze it in an ice tray and then crush it into small pieces.. or if you have any craft sticks, you can put them in the ice trays and make popcicles... I used to use 1/2 pedialite, 1/2 water and make jello..... if it calls for 1 cup hot water, use 1/2 water, 1/2 pedialite and make sure pedialite flavor matches jello flavor.... Use a B R A T diet... Bananas, Rice, Apples, Toast.. they put my daughter on that diet when she was in the hospital with a stomach bug, Roto virus, and a UTI.... Use Ice packs on the back of the neck, or cool rags, will help slow down and stop vomiting..... I think thats all I got.. Good luck, we all hate having our little ones sick... give plenty of kisses
Small amounts of fluids at a time! Nothing heavy like milk! Sprite, pedia-lite is better! Keep cool and confortable! I will pray for her! bye
