Answers:
teachers can and should help their students learn to communicate. by the looks of some of your answers, God Bless you for thinking of it and trying.
My answer would be by some type of game. I'm sorry I don't have one off the top of my head. But I know that children learn from games, when they don't even realize they are learning.

Why? Why should they have to? I'm a mother of 3 kids. Its MY job to teach these kids things like that. I get disgusted with parents that have babies, then pay a daycare to raise them for the next 12 plus years. If parents did a better job, teachers would be allowed to teach a curriculum instead of teaching things that should be left to parents. My kid's teacher should be able to do her job, not get stuck with my job too!
thats not the teachers job its the parents. its called spending time with you kids and teaching them
By encouraging them. By listening to what they have to say.
Teachers cannot force one to communicate..Parents should teach their children that they can come to them with anything. That cannot be done by a teacher 5 days a week 8 hours a day. If you ask about teachers what about TV the media..they all communicate to our children..Sometimes more than the parents or teachers.
