What is a sippy cup?

I have been reading articles about getting a baby off the bottle and they mention the sippy cup. Where do I get one of these in London, England?

Answers:
Try this website- http://www.sunpaq.co.uk/page32.html
It shows a picture of what a sippy cup looks like. You can probably order it off the web and have it shipped to you or you may even have them in London, but you probaly call it something different. For example in the United States what we call diapers you call nappies. Hope this helps.

you know how little kids got them little cups wit the lids??? and they drink out the little opening @ the top...well that is a sippy cup...

Not sure where you can find one of those in London since I live in the good old USA, but a "sippy cup" is a cup for toddlers with a little top on it so they can practice drinking with a cup without spilling. I hope you find the sippy cups you're looking for. =) It is a cup with a lid that has a little mouth piece to suck to get the liquid out also called training cup tippy cup, etc. Try a baby store or a grocery store.

Anywhere that's sells baby stuff - probably the supermarket. Mother-care is bound to have them. They also use them in hospitals for adults!

It's a short plastic cup with a lid that seals to the top, with a little spout ...
If you have accuses to a Tupperware dealer, they can get you some.
