My toddler cries when I go to work?

My 18 month toddler cries when I leave her in the maid's custody and go to work. My maid takes good care of her and her elder brother. Still my baby cries when she sees me going out of the door along with her father. This pains both me and my husband because quitting the job is not feasible. How to pacify her?

Answers:
this is perfectly normal. instead of trying to sneak out of the house make it clear to her that you are leaving, but that you will be back later. try leaving her with a picture of you and your husband or maybe a blanket sprayed with a little of your perfume. also, try not to drag out the goodbye, telling her your leaving say bye once, give her a hug and kiss and then leave. if you keep lingering it'll make it harder for you and her.you could also try to establish a morning ritual with her perhaps read her a story before you go.

Other Answers:
i could be cause she is soo attached to you and dosent want to see you go some where without her so maybe put her asleep before you leave or leave when she isnt looking
I definitely think she is way to attached. You need to allow her to be more independent. Don't run to every cry etc. Let her cope on her own. She'll be fine dont worry! Also, you might try walking out while she is in another room etc so it does make it easier while trying to try a few different strategies
Try leaving her in room for several minutes alone with the maid, then return. Keep doing this, just extend the time you are gone as she adjusts. Before you have to go to work, have the three of you be doing something together, then seek out when she isn't watching you as close. After time she'll get used to you leaving. It just takes time and patience.
ALL KIDS DO THE SAME THING, THEY TRY TO MAKE YOU FEEL GUILTY.HANG ON I KNOW IT'S HARD I STILL DEALING WITH THE SAME THING. WISH THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO WORK.
