When did your child begin sleeping with a blanket?

I have a 15 month old son, who has always slept while cuddling his "security" blanket. But whenever I try to put a blanket over him to keep him warm, he just kicks it off, obviously b/c he doesn't understand. Just wondering when other children began using a blanket at night, rather than just their warm pajamas and socks!

My daughter was about two when she started using a blanket to keep her warm.

My daughter is three and still kicks the covers off every time I cover her up. I just put her in really warm PJ's in the winter.
