Headache and ear problems.?

My son wakes up with headaches sometimes and sometimes comes home complaining of a headache and I see him rubbing his ears. Is there a problem? I don't give him tylenol all the time bc i don't want him to get hooked on it. He's 5.

I wonder if its possible that he has migraines. I know when I get migraines there are times when the pain travels and feels as if its in my ears. I would definately talk to your pediatrician about any repetitive headaches. He won't get hooked on tylenol but you don't want to make it a habit. Good Luck to you and I hope he feels better.
He won't get hooked on Tylenol but may become resistant to it's pain killing ability. Also long term Tylenol use is bad for the liver. You should get your son to a pediatrician. If money is a factor go to your local Emergency Department. They have plans for people without insurance. NEVER ignore repeated headaches especially in a child at any age but especially this young. Let us know what you find out. Good Luck.
