when can we tell whether our child will be right or left handed?

My 15 month old son switches back and forth using both hands when using his spoon or fork. When will we be able to tell which hand will become his dominant hand?

Answers:
At about eighteen months old, you'll notice him using one hand more than the other although he'll still have this habit of switching back and forward. By about two years, it will be obvious he definitely favours one hand and by two-and-a-half, he'll definitely have chosen whether he's right or left-handed.
Try letting him scribble with crayons.
