My daughter has been sick the last week and has fever sores in her mouth.?

Just eating is painful for her. Any suggestions as to what kind of food we could try. she is 20 months and a very good eater. It tears me up when she wants to eat something she normally does but can't because of the sores in her mouth. I am a mom of 2 but this is a first for me. She is just getting over a upper respiratory infection and a very high fever.

My daughter just got over the same thing. The sores lasted about 2 wks. Don't be to concerned about her eating, just make sure she is getting plenty of liquids. She will eat when it is comfortable for her. Hope she gets better soon!
Try to avoid salty foods or foods with acid. Salt would most likely irritate the sores and acid would as well. Try really plain foods such as plain pasta (no sauce), rice, bread, milk, etc. Good luck and I hope she feels better :(
